Click here to view our wide selection of coffees that we offer in decaffeinated form. We have two processes we use to decaffeinate our coffees: the European Process and the Swiss Water Process. Both remove 97-98% of the caffeine.
* European Process – This common method uses Methylene Chloride and removes only caffeine from the green beans. The evaporation point of Methyl Chloride is 100 Degrees and coffee is roasted at temperatures exceeding 400 degrees. There are no residues present after roasting.
* Swiss Water Process – In this method, the green coffee is immersed in water until the caffeine has been removed, however this also removes traces of oil and flavors from the bean.
